How We Got Here

2018

Started this whole thing in a basement gym with just altitude masks and a dream. Had been training climbers on the side while working search and rescue in the North Shore mountains. Realized folks needed more than just standard gym routines if they wanted to actually perform up high.

2020

Moved into our first real space on Summit Ridge. Installed proper altitude simulation equipment - the kind that actually works, not the gimmicky stuff. Started working with backcountry skiers and mountaineers who needed legit conditioning.

2022

Expanded to include proper recovery protocols and nutrition planning. Turns out you can't just beat people up at altitude without teaching them how to bounce back. Brought on certified coaches who actually spend time in the mountains themselves.

2024

Now we're working with everyone from weekend warriors prepping for Kilimanjaro to elite athletes training for competitions. Added functional strength programs that actually translate to real-world mountain performance, not just looking good in the mirror.

Today

We're still here, still pushing limits, still learning. Every client teaches us something new about what works at elevation. That's what keeps this interesting - the mountains don't care about your theories, only your results.

Look, there's a million gyms out there. Most of 'em are fine if you just wanna look better or feel healthier. But we built this place for people who've got something specific they're chasing - a summit, a backcountry line, a performance goal that happens where the air gets thin.

We're not gonna promise you'll get shredded in 30 days or transform your life with some magic formula. What we will do is prepare your body for the demands of high-altitude environments using methods that've been tested on actual mountains, not just in labs.

Training for mountains is different. You need cardiovascular capacity that doesn't quit when oxygen drops. You need strength that's functional - the kind that helps you move with a heavy pack, not just lift heavy weights. You need mental toughness because when you're at 4000 meters and it's getting dark, your mindset matters as much as your muscles.
